GROUP REVENUE MANAGER

As the Group Revenue Manager you will:

1. Be responsible for the revenue generation of APX Hotels Apartments.
2. Prepare various sales reports to advise management of the monthly and annual sales.
3. Work closely with the General Manager, Sales Manager, Operations Managers in rate setting for all periods.
4. Collate all hotels' reports relating to any reservation or sales tracking as designated by General Manager.
5. Analyse and report on business, source, yields, production, origins and complete month end reporting as directed.
6. Coordinate yield meetings as designated. Report on forecast and actuals, trends, market intelligence for yieldable periods, stay restrictions, business patterns, competitor information.
7. Control and monitor the loading of all rates into GDS and any other form of booking or rate/room management system in use.
8. Utilize effective yield management techniques through the Implementation of stay restrictions to maximize occupancy, average rate and room revenue.
9. Conduct a 30 60 90 and 360 day forecast on a weekly basis. This will be presented and discussed in sales meeting.
10. Monitor group holdings to ensure room blocks are accurate and release periods are correctly tracked to prevent unexpected wash of rooms.
11. Maintain accurate room rate control and availability status.
12. Work closely with General Manager and sales teams and Operations managers on establishing appropriate rate strategies for all markets.
13. Control all discounted and complementary rooms by acting as 1st signatory after confirming or declining availability.
14. Manage and review rate activity on all major websites. Create tracking reports to assist in reviewing competitor rate movements and to assist the yield committee in developing online rate strategies.
15. Ensure all websites are workable and functioning correctly, such as Levart, GDS. I-hotelier and third party websites.
16. Ensure all reservations are loaded accurately by team & backup Paperwork filed promptly.
17. Ensure arrivals are checked & rooms allocated at least 1 day in advance by operations teams.
18. Perform virtual site inspections as requested by teams to check product changes etc.

Responsibilities of a Housekeeping Supervisor:

* Lead and supervise the day-to-day operations of the department to ensure service standards are followed
* Handle Guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying the proper areas
* Ensure Room Attendants are informed daily about priorities in their section
* Follow set policies and procedures
* Report necessary maintenance items
* Follow all safety and sanitation policies
* Experience with Hotel Property Management System
* Proficiency in English (verbal & written) essential
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
* Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory capacity in a hotel Housekeeping environment
* Proactive with an eye for detail
* Strong organizational, supervisory and communication skills
* Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
* Work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
* Effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by coworkers and Guests
* Must be a good trainer / leader as he/she will need to train all cleaners and ensure standards are consistently maintained
