TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By making a reservation at any of our locations—including APX World Square, APX Darling Harbour, and APX Parramatta — guests agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions as well as all applicable Australian laws. A reservation is deemed confirmed only when all payment and identification requirements have been satisfied.
1. General
⦁ These Terms and Conditions apply to all guests and visitors at APX Hotels Apartments.
⦁ By booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
⦁ In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any additional contractual documents, these Terms shall prevail unless otherwise agreed in writing by authorized management.
2. Booking and Payment
⦁ Reservation Guarantee:
All bookings require a valid credit card guarantee. The same card used at the time of booking must be presented at check-in.
⦁ Payment:
⦁ Full payment is required upon check-in unless explicitly stated otherwise.
⦁ A security deposit (typically $200) will be authorized on your credit card prior to check-in to confirm its validity and cover potential incidental damages. This amount will appear as a pending charge and will be released after a room inspection at check-out, typically within 5 to 7 working days (bank processing times may vary).
⦁ Credit Card Validation:
⦁ A Credit Card Validation Fee of $0.01 will be applied at check-in.
⦁ Mobile-based credit cards (e.g., those displayed on smartphones) cannot be used for check-in or payment.
⦁ A surcharge will be added to credit card payments as follows:
⦁ VISA and Mastercard: 1.5%
⦁ American Express: 2.75%
⦁ Diners Club and JCB: 3%
⦁ Group Bookings:
Reservations involving more than 5 rooms may be subject to special deposit requirements and cancellation policies. Please contact our sales team for details.
⦁ Rate Adjustments:
Room rates are subject to change without notice. Bookings made through third-party agents may be subject to additional terms.
⦁ Fraud Prevention:
APX Hotels Apartments reserves the right to cancel any booking if payment details are found to be invalid or if fraudulent activity is suspected.
3. Cancellation, Amendments, and Refunds
⦁ Standard Cancellation Policy:
⦁ Cancellations received more than 48 hours prior to check-in are eligible for a full refund.
⦁ Cancellations within 48 hours of check-in will incur a charge equivalent to one night’s stay.
⦁ No-shows will be charged the full booking amount.
⦁ Non-Refundable Bookings:
Non-refundable bookings require full payment at the time of reservation and are not eligible for any refund or amendment.
⦁ Booking Amendments:
Changes to a reservation are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Requests must be submitted in writing or through our online system.
⦁ Booking Type Specific Policies:
⦁ Flexible Limited Housekeeping:
Free cancellation if received more than 24 hours before arrival. Full cleaning service (including linen change) is provided only after the third night.
⦁ Flexible Daily Housekeeping:
Free cancellation if received more than 24 hours before arrival. Daily cleaning is provided with bed linen changes after the third night.
⦁ Non-Refundable Options (Limited or Daily Housekeeping):
No cancellations or amendments allowed; full payment is required upon reservation. Housekeeping services are provided as specified at the time of booking.
4. Check-in and Check-out
⦁ Check-in:
⦁ Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM. Early check-in is available subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
⦁ A valid government-issued photo ID (a copy will be retained for record purposes) and the physical credit card used for booking must be presented at check-in.
⦁ Reception At APX Darling Harbour and APX Parramatta operates until 10:00 PM; after-hours check-in is available until midnight. Guests arriving after midnight may have their reservation automatically canceled. Reception at APX World Square operates 24/7 and there is no restriction on check-in timings.
⦁ Check-out:
⦁ Standard check-out time is 10:00 AM. Late check-out may be available on request and is subject to availability and additional fees.
⦁ Late Arrival:
⦁ If you anticipate arriving late, please inform the hotel in advance to ensure your booking is secured.
5. Guest Responsibilities
⦁ Guests must comply with all hotel policies, including safety, security, and noise regulations.
⦁ You are responsible for any damage to hotel property. Costs for repairs or replacements will be charged to the credit card on file.
⦁ APX Hotels Apartments is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings. We recommend using in-room safe deposit boxes where available.
⦁ Respectful behavior toward hotel staff and fellow guests is required at all times. Disruptive behavior may result in eviction without a refund.
6. House Rules
⦁ Smoking:
APX Hotels Apartments is a non-smoking property. Smoking in non-designated areas will incur fines up to AUD 500 and may result in immediate eviction.
⦁ Pets:
No pets are allowed unless you are accompanied by a registered service animal with valid documentation. If the service animal or guest causes any damage or if extra cleaning is required, then the guest will be responsible for the extra charges incurred as a result.
⦁ Occupancy:
Maximum occupancy per room must be strictly adhered to as per your booking confirmation. Additional guests not included in the original reservation may incur extra charges or result in cancellation.
⦁ Cooking:
Cooking is permitted only in designated kitchenettes. All cooking must be done safely and in accordance with any posted guidelines and must NOT trigger any smoke alarms.
⦁ Smoke Alarms:
Guests must not do anything which causes a false smoke alarm inside their apartments or in the common areas of the hotel. Any action resulting in a false smoke alarm will result in a substantial fine to the guest (as per NSW Fire regulations).
⦁ Noise and Disturbance:
Guests are requested to maintain a quiet environment, particularly during night hours, to avoid disturbance to other residents. Guests who disobey this rule may be subject to immediate eviction from the hotel premises.
7. Car Parking
⦁ Availability:
Secure parking is available on a space-availability basis. APX Hotels Apartments does not guarantee parking spots, and reservations for parking cannot be made in advance.
⦁ Fees:
Parking is subject to an additional fee per night, payable at check-in. Parking arrangements must be made for the entire duration of your stay.
⦁ Liability:
The hotel is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to vehicles or their contents.
8. Liability and Indemnity
⦁ APX Hotels Apartments is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to guests or their belongings, except where such liability is established by law.
⦁ Guests assume all risks associated with their stay and are responsible for ensuring their own safety.
⦁ The hotel shall not be liable for any service interruptions (e.g., internet, power, water) or any acts of third parties, except in cases of proven negligence.
9. Promotions and Discounts
⦁ Eligibility:
Discounts, including the 10% APX DIRECT offer, apply only to bookings made through the official APX Hotels Apartments website.
⦁ Conditions:
Promotional offers cannot be combined with other discounts unless expressly stated. APX Hotels Apartments reserves the right to modify or cancel promotions at any time without prior notice.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
⦁ Data Collection:
Personal information provided during the booking process is collected and managed in accordance with Australian privacy laws. For more details, please review our Privacy Policy available on our website.
⦁ Data Security:
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information.
⦁ Third-Party Disclosure:
Your information will not be shared with third parties without your consent unless required by law.
11. Force Majeure
⦁ APX Hotels Apartments shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from circumstances beyond its control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or technical failures.
⦁ In the event of such circumstances, the hotel may offer alternative arrangements or refunds at its sole discretion.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
⦁ These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia and the state of New South Wales.
⦁ Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the NSW courts.
13. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
⦁ Raising Concerns:
Any complaints should be directed to the hotel management during your stay. We are committed to resolving issues promptly and amicably.
⦁ Further Resolution:
If your concerns are not resolved to your satisfaction, you may contact the relevant industry ombudsman or dispute resolution body as provided on our website.
14. Accessibility and Special Requests
⦁ APX Hotels Apartments will make reasonable efforts to accommodate guests with disabilities or special needs.
⦁ Please inform us at the time of booking if you require any special arrangements. We cannot guarantee that all requests can be met but will endeavor to assist where possible.
15. Website and Intellectual Property
⦁ All content provided on the APX Hotels Apartments website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the intellectual property of APX Hotels Apartments and is protected by applicable copyright laws.
⦁ No part of the website may be reproduced or transmitted in any form without our prior written consent.
16. Amendments to These Terms
⦁ APX Hotels Apartments reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
